Day 1
Transfer & acclimatization
We’ll meet at Tbilisi airport and drive to Stepantsminda. If there’s time, we’ll do an acclimatization hike. In the evening: team briefing, gear check, and packing.
Day 2
Base camp
After breakfast, we stop for gear rental, then drive to Gergeti Church (2,200 m). Horses carry group gear while you hike to base camp at 3,650 m (6–7 hours).

After breakfast at Betlemi Hut, we hike down to Gergeti Church (2,200 m), then take transfer to Stepantsminda and then to Tbilisi.
Descent to Stepantsminda and drive back to Tbilisi

Reserve day for bad weather
or acclimatization
If unused, we’ll go for a short hike or improve alpinist skills.

Breakfast at 01:00, summit push at 02:00. At ~4,000 m — crampons and ropes on. Cross the plateau (4500 m), reach Kazbek saddle (4900 m), and climb the final 45° slope. Enjoy views on the top. 13:00 is turnaround time for your safety. Back to base camp by the same day.

After breakfast we’ll hike up to 4,000–4,200 m for glacier training: using ropes & crampons, ice axe self-arrest. We’ll return to the hut by late afternoon. Then — early dinner, summit backpack prep, and early rest.

Climbing tours are best suited for physically active people without serious health concerns. No prior mountaineering experience is required — your guide will teach you everything you need on the spot.
Hiking tours are more accessible and suitable for a wider range of people. Just let us know about any health specifics or personal needs, and we’ll help you choose the right tour or adapt one to suit you.
