Our maximum height for this trek is 2000 m. Most people start feeling the effects of altitude at around 2,500 m. Some people may even begin to experience symptoms of altitude sickness as low as 1,800–2,000 m.
During our day hikes, the way you feel depends more on your general fitness, hydration, and how well you manage your pace and rest. If needed, we carry basic medication to relieve symptoms of altitude sickness in the group's first aid kit.
If you’re concerned about altitude, you can also start taking adaptogens at least 7 days before your hike. Simple and affordable options include schisandra, rhodiola rosea, echinacea, and ginseng—all widely available in pharmacies.
